Reviews For: Killzone 3 (Video Game) I have now finished the single-player campaign and spent over 10 hours taking section in on-line multiplayer (all modes). I performed during the campaign using the Move controller. I performed via a phase of the marketing campaign again the usage of the usual controller. So I've just about blown every whistle and rung every bell Sony's including with this game (the only factor I have not tried is the offline co-op). Here's what I considered the entire thing:
The Good:
Online Multiplayer. It's extremely enjoyable. Using the Move controller gives you better accuracy, which on a standard basis lands me in first or 2nd location. It nearly feels like cheating, however this is the path Sony took.
Single participant marketing campaign. Ignore the bitter critics who are crying because they failed to get a chance to play it in threeD or they're rendered incapable of praising any FPS that does now not celebrity Master Chief or have somebody Calling for Duty. This is within the top 10 easiest FPS titles ever made. Its set-pieces are much like early Lucas or Spielberg films in how EPIC they are. Think Raiders of the Lost Ark or any of the first 3 Star Wars' movies. It's a truly smartly put together game with more jaw-dropping seconds than the remaining three Halos combined.
The Move Controls. They work better than it's excellent to imagine. They work better than the dualshock itself. It's the closest you are going to come to the keyboard/mouse experience on a console, without actually using a keyboard and mouse on a console. Very correct. Very enjoyable to play.
The photographs. Pure awesomeness. Thought Killzone 2 regarded excellent? This one looks better.
The Bad:
As so much as I loved it, the marketing campaign is way too brief (7 hours to finish on medium difficulty) and could additionally be just a bit too disjointed. There had been once or twice where they went overboard making scenes that will stand out in threeD and leave 2D avid gamers scratching their heads. If the single-player campaign ran 10-20 hours, I would have given Killzone three a 5 out of 5. I'm positive they will have more of the sport to promote us later (there's a "6 months later" moment that really feels created for DLC).
Lack of maps. I'm not positive how many maps the game comes with, but with 10+ hours of play time, I haven't viewed greater than 6 or 7. Not to say, everybody memorizes one map and then preserves vote casting to play it over and over again, which is in point of fact anxious. Again, I'm certain they'll have lots more maps to sell us later as DLC. Am I the most effective one no longericing that to get a "full" sport, it's a must to shell out round $120?
